How to stop buying a new board? - Snowboarding Forum

yeah... i really don't NEED a new board, but i really want this 32 snowboard, its reg camber 152 (perfect jump board). My current Subzero is 2 years old now.

I have arguments for and against buying it, but i was wondering what you guys do in order to avoid buying another board that is sooo goddamn enticing.

you stop buying by buying it......cuzz then you cant buy it anymore.

ahhhh i think i am going to buy it! this will solve my problem. snowboarding is more than an addiction, it's worse than that drug some call charlie sheen!

build up a sentimental bond with your current bond so that you'll feel bad about replacing it haha

Cut up the credit cards. I just bought board #31 in 3 years...head i.ct. YES and Nug Directional are next on the list of ish i want to try but dont need.

Get it. You're not as bad as me yet. I went from 3 to 6 to 3 this season, and probably adding 2-3 more next season.

If you don't like it, it will be easy to sell on Ebay.

I'm having serious issues with this myself. I just picked up #4 for this year. Hopefully this one will break the cycle. In my defense, the first two were bought on impulse before I had any idea what my boarding preferences were. My new theory is if you want to buy another, make sure to sell one. At least that way there's some method to the madness.

pshhh credit cards? i pay cash foool! lol. nah i'm selling all my other boards i don't use so i will be down to a 2 board quiver which should be nice. (subzero +32).

You wanna go get sheened at a party tonight? Theres gonna be tons of sheen and hookers doing sheen off of tables with all the sheen you can get!

This is a normal invite to any party with my friends now. And yes we do in fact get sheen faced!
