Am I too big for a 156cm? - Snowboarding Forum

I am 6'1 240, and I just ordered the Forum Eddie Wall 156cm for a great price, $175 shipped new. I have not ridden in a few years, but I have two older boards, a Ride Jeff Brushie 156 and a Rossignol 162. I was about the same height when I last rode, but im a bit heavier now. I think the stiffness on my new board is a 6/10, but feel free to chime in if you know anything else. Its the destroyer gold/purple striped model...Thanks in advance!

i would say it is about 12 cm too short for you

but if you will exist purely on packed piste and / or park, you might get away with it

second the above. if all you want to do is play in the park it might do although i still think its a bit short even for that. I'd go at least 165 for your weight.
