Hey, I was just wondering if this thing was worth buying?
Is it idiot proof? Should I save up and buy that 75$ dollar one instead? I just want it for basic edge maintenance after every 4-5 rides or so. Thanks. |

Sweet thanks a lot for the answer!!
If anyone knows about a website I could order this off of for cheap in Canada I'd much appreciate! Or an eBay link that beats the ones shown here : 1 - http://cgi.ebay.ca/Dakine-Mini-Edge-...#ht_898wt_1139 2 - http://cgi.ebay.ca/One-Ball-Jay-Edge...#ht_500wt_1156 Thanks. ^^ Out of the two edge tuners I listed previously, the Dakine and the One Ball Jay.
Could anyone tell me which one is better if you've had experience with either? Or is a file just a damn file? Thanks. |

problem I found is once you do the routine sharpening a few times with the included shallow file , you start scrubbing into the sidewall and clogging the teeth with plastic. At that point, I think you need the deeper panzar file (not included with cheaper edge tools) to cut the sidewall away enough to be able to sharpen the metal...or maybe I'm just not doing it right
