I wear a DonJoy Armor Action Ski and Snowboard version ACL brace.
My question to you would be did you have the knee examined by an Ortho or examined since the time you injured it? Ligaments don't really heal, so there is a possibility you have done more damage since "the day" without even knowing it. |

yeah - i know i used to play ball and then i made the move into med sales in ortho, so ive seen a ton of acls and total joints from what i can gather, i prob just hyperextended it and prob stretched out the acl. never had an mri or ct ive actually played on it - finished out the season after it happened, but after that i wanted to get a 'secure' brace rather than a wrap thanks for the info |
