Thoughts on the Salomon Salomonder?

Long time reader, first time poster, hi.

Anyone ridden the Salomonder and can leave some feedback? Compare it to other boards?

I'm 6 feet, 175lbs and have size 9 shoes, should I get a 51 or 54 Salomonder for jibs/boxes/butters/resort cruising/smaller kickers? A bit worried that the 51 would be too soft, and that the 54 is a tad bit wide with it's 25,6 waist.

Its not the board for you. Try the Nitro Swindle. It comes big enough without being a wide and is pretty similar riding. Both Zero cam.

Not to sound rude or anything, but have you tried either of the Salomonder or the Swindle? How about the Ride Kink? They're all boards I have considered, but I'm having a hard time finding input from someone who has actually tried any/more then one of the boards... Yeah I know, demo yourself etc, and trust me I would if I could!

The Angry Snowboarder Blog Archive Salomon Salomonder Used and Reviewed

I haven't ridden the Salomonder, but I know him^^ pretty well and have talked boards enough to know if he felt a board rode a certain way, I have a good handle how it will ride for me. I have ridden the Kink and Swindle.

All are fairly similar. The Kink is a little smoother than the Swindle with Slimewalls but the Swindle felt more comfy at speed. Salomonder is kinda somewhere inbetween.
