Here's the approach I used for Flux to warranty a pair of bindings that was a month past the warranty date:
ME: I bought a pair of Flux Titans from Community Skate & Snow in Arvada, CO at the end of last season. I've got about 40 days on them now and I've loved them on my Never Summer Evo. However, today I was up on the hill and I just wasn't feeling it. Something felt off. I decided to call it an early day and when I got to the bottom and was unstrapping, I discovered why everything felt off! I've attached pics of the damage. I'm not sure what happened. It was icy today so I was taking it pretty easy and staying well within my comfort zone. I don't know, but I hope you guys will help me out because I do love your bindings!

Our warranty covers manufacturers defects from up to one year from date of purchase. Please provide a proof of purchase, or reciept so we can process your warranty.
Were you requesting a new baseplate? Is it the left binding? Is there any other damage to the binding? Hope this helps
ME: I heard back from Community Skate and Snow. Evidently I purchased on 2/9/10. I hope you guys can cut me some kind of break on this. Pretty please! You'll definitely have a fan for life if you do! I'm really stoked on your gear and I've already converted two of my buddies to Flux customers from my suggestions.

THEM: Where are you located? Address? And is there any other damage other than the broken baseplate on your left Titan that we should know about?
