Default Keep, or upgrade? *new board itch*

I am getting tempted with all these new sales so i want to get some opinions from my fellow boarders.

I currently have 05? Palmer Honycomb with c60 bindings.

I have been debating on getting a new board cause of sales haha.

So as in free riding stiff board is my older board still good? or has new tech made it obsolete. ( i am well aware it still works). This board will be for riding fast and northeast conditions. I also have a NS EVO for different setup

so below are some boards that gets my interest

Custom X
NS Raptor
Arbor Wasteland

or suggest some boards.

I am open to rocker or camber but after riding my evo this season i have to say Rocker is great!

Well it's not "obsolete", but you would love the improvements that have been made.

Try the Arbor Element RX (I love system rocker), Raptor would be great (though I've been told NS can loose most their snap after like 50 days on mtn...), K2 Slayblade, Ride Highlife (tank), Flow Solitude (never ridden, but I trust Flow 100% to make a good stick now).
Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends

Wow thanks Nivek, really appreciate the response. Those are nice boards you mentioned and I will read up on them. So you recommend the element from arbor, I was eyeing the wasteland. *edit* you are spot on. Element and coda.

Which board is better for speed or effortless riding

Hope others will chime in.
