Skate Banana vs Scallywag

Hey, next year im getting a new board. Right now i have a Burton Deuce and I dont like it at all. Anyways, I was wondering which board would be better for me out of "LibTech Skate Banana" or "Forum Scallywag" I am an intermediate/advanced rider (in between the two) I usually ride park but on good pow days i'll go up alpine. Which board would be a better one for my skill level and needs? Thanks!

never tried the scallywag but i recently got the SB. I used to ride a Burton Blunt and i loved it but sizing down and trying out the SB was a great move IMO. best bet is to demo both if you can. there are a lot of other people who have ridden the scallywag and SB so i'm sure they can give you a better comparison. you should throw NeverSummer up there, i know Leo might wanna chime in about them

Scallywag was a fun board. A good one board ride everywhere for the way I ride. I hated the SB. Grippy, washy, and unstable all at the same time.

The 2011 and 2012 are the same contruction.

never tried the scallywag, but i'll second what nivek said. i was really disappointed with my SB, the base felt like shit when i was riding anything other than the park or just goofing around. banana rocker and megna-traction are great though..but if you want something that you can ride every time out to the mountains, i would look at something other than the SB..

If your board is in perfect condition at the end of the season, you're doing it wrong!
