GNU Carbon High Beam Wide - Snowboarding Forum

I have spent sometime looking into wide boards.

I have decided I like the GNU CHB (Carbon High Beam) Wide.
I am 190lbs 5,10 boot size 11.5.

I spent most of my time on the mountain but I am trying the park more for jumps than rails once in a while.

The question I have is should I go for the 161 wide or can I get away with the 157 wide?

I ask the question as I have never used a wide board and am wondering if the width of the board will allow me to go smaller. I am currently riding a 159 and getting toe drag and chatter.

I just bought a 161 chb mtx wide. I haven't gotten to try it yet, but it seems sick. Im sure youll like it and sorry i cant really help you on the length Q
