TRS 151 is it too wide for me?

I've been riding a Libtech TRS 151 this season and have enjoyed it thoroughly, however what I've noticed is that I am not able to transition as quickly as I did when I had a 2007 CHB Series 147. I'm 140lbs and size 7 US. The reason I upgraded was because I've outgrown the CHB, I needed a firmer ride since I freeride most of the time. If it's relevant I have Ride SPi bindings, +12 -9. Going from a cambered, flexi board to a BTX mid stiff board, I had to adjust my riding, I'm posting this question just to eliminate to possibility that the board is a size too big.

You're on like the second slimmest sidecut board they make. You should be golden in terms of transitioning. Alot of variables and info get in peoples head while they're riding and most of it is truly inconsequential. Give it more time and focus on what you think is going right, not the opposite.
