My poor technine!! - Snowboarding Forum

ok so i went to the mountain on sunday and it was a lil wet so my board kept getting full of ice chips or whatever you wanna call it so i tapped my board on a rack to knock it off whenever we took a break and i must have hit my edge bc there is a huge dent right at my front binding on the toe side and the metal edge is actually cracked through. i know there have been threads on board repair but apparently i have downs syndrome bc i couldnt find any. if anyone could point them out or tell me what i should do to fix it id appreciate it.

P.S. i live in buffalo so i ride the ice coast and the board is a 08/09 technine team goontown 152cm

Get a new board next year?

If you want to fix it, get it to a shop. This will take work if the edge is cracked. Probably gonna cost over $50. Depends on the amount of work they will actually have to put in it. That's why I say maybe get a new one next year. Is the board still worth spending maybe $80 to fix?
