Chipped Board - Snowboarding Forum

I recently purchased my Joystick Board maybe 2 or 3 months ago... While I was putting it away for the summer I noticed I had a chip on the back side rear of my board... Is this something I should be really concerned about? Will it really effect my board's performance?

This is a Burton Joystick

Clean it up, put some epoxy on it to seal it, and then don't worry about it.

Just file it down smooth and you're good. Put some marine grade epoxy to fill in the gap, if there is any after you file it. Or you could not care about it, it's just topsheet.

Come back when you got something to cry about lol..

^^ 8h of labour, I fully fixed it! Still going strong.

OP: Nothing to worry about. I had the same damage on my board for two years without any issues.
