Ride Kink ? - Snowboarding Forum

Anyone have experience free riding with the 2011 Ride Kink? Just got this board new not too long ago for a price you definitely can't beat. I heard good things about it being playful, but free riding on groomers/pow? Haven't taken it out since the season is almost over.

It's a jib stick that's soft.

Sure its soft, but I'M hoping to get some feedback on its free ride capability from those who have it. Have you tried the Kink out? I hope its good enough

Its a jibstick. It's not gonna hold a great edge, it'll float if big enough, won't lay a trench...

i have the kink, but fyi i ride the ice coast so now deep pow days for me

anyway, like others have said, its a jibstick, but still does ok freeriding...just have to deal with the chatter and the slowness but other than that, i had a lot of fun on it this past season...my local mountain is not too big, so to "lap" the park, i still cruise down whole mountain everytime to get to park and have a lot of fun playing around on it en route...butters great, pops pretty good for a jibstick and handles jumps quite well
