Unless a shop or site specifically let's you choose between the ones they have, no... NS is waste conscious so they do flips on their bases. Completely random which one of these flips you get.

Part of the photo thing is probably the only one they had to put on the website was the one with the Black and Green base. They probably will get black/green and Blue/green base colors depending on how far NS was into the manufacturing process before they made a change.

since you are just starting why not go buy a used board? because if you buy new, chances are after 1 day that board will be all beat up as you'll fall a lot. i recommend that you save some $ and buy a 2010 evo or 2011 evo

Sry I've never trusted buying used... Never TRULY know what you are getting and used evos don't go THAT much less. I'd rather pay the extra 100-150 for my peace of mind knowing I have a solid board... Not to mention this is hands down the best looking evo to date IMO
