need some advice! - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys i am looking for a board to complement my banana magic. I need the board to help me progress on jumps and jibs. It must also be able to handle ice coast conditions. I am pretty familiar with 2011 boards but haven't ridden any 2012 ones yet. I am looking at the ns evo, arbor blacklist, proto ct, and the nitro t1. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. One last thing is i need help on size. I am 5 ft 6 145- 150 pounds. One last thing is do you guys thing my banana magic is to small at 152? I was heavier last year but i dropped a lot of weight so i assume it should be good. Thanks in advance !

im pretty much the exact same size as you and ride anywhere between 150-153 depending on what sizes the board comes in so a 152 is fine in my opinion.

any one of those boards would be a good choice but the blacklist and evo would prob be better options for jumps and jibs seeing as the proto is suppose to be a little stiffer.

next years evo is a lot better then this years with the blunted tips and will ride a little longer then this years.

Banana is fine, could be bigger for powder, but as an all mtn i'm sure its movable and stable enough.

I would seriously consider the Blacklist in what I hope will be a 151. If not that, my next favorite might be a Signal Park Zero. I rode the Park light and having ridden enough zero and knowing how that rides, I'm expecting great things of the Zero.

Best rocker under $400 for 2012 though might just have to be the Salomon Drift rocker.

SO. Blacklist. If you want rocker, Drift rocker, for zero cam, the Park Zero.

Looks like the blacklist is only going to be in 154, 157, and 160. At least that's all they have listed in the catalog.

Thanks guys the signal park series in general seem to be a little soft for me. I have always liked the drift rocker so i will look at that. I have read a lot of good about the evo and the blacklist so it will be a tough choice. Hopefully arbor makes a 151.Which board has the best edge hold between the evo blacklist, and drift rocker? I ride in ohio when i dont go out west and maybe some New york.

I read someone emailed Arbor, no 151 for the Blacklist, just 154 (it was over at angry's blog)
