Hello i started snowboarding this year as i skied before for a couple of years and i am interested in buying a board. I really liked being in the park as i hit some boxes and jumps. But the rentals are crap and i got 2 setups in mind. Im around 6feet and i weigh 170
The burton blunt 159 wide with burton mission bindings OR the dc pbj 157 with union force which would be a better setup? |

I picked up a 159cm 09-10 Burton Blunt w/ Burton Custom bindings and rode it all last season (10 trips - I'm a newb). I really like this board. I probably should have picked up something suited more to all-mountain because I enjoy carving it up more than riding park. But, it works well on the groomers as well. The Blunt/Custom combo works well together.

PBJ all the way. I'd even downsize, if possible. This deck is super buttery, decent pop and even though it's a park deck (park board for jibbing) you can ride it elsewhere.
The only blunt you should touch is one you can lock in on a rail or one you can smoke. |
