Arbor Westmark/Blacklist vs. Neversummer EVO
 

Massive lurker, seldom poster here. Just wanted to ask a quick question in preparation for the upcoming season, which I am super excited for. I've been trying to research as much as possible to get a grip on what to buy this winter between the three boards above before I head out to CO & UT this winter.

Stats:
Height: 5'6
Weight: 180
Boot size: 8
Skill: Intermediate
Run: Almost 50/50 Park & Mountain split on mostly Ice(East) coast.


Just when I thought Leo's review of the EVO put me over the top and I had thought my decision was made, Angrysnowboarder's site seems to have pushed the Blacklist/Westmark into consideration. His review of the EVO seemed to be so blah, I just wanted some advice as to which board of the three is most recommended.

Another quick question, regarding size, given my weight my current board runs a 158, but I'd like to run shorter, anyone see a problem with bumping down to like a 154 given my current riding traits?

The EVO is blah after you ride a Westmark or Blacklist. For you if you want to size down i would look at the Westmark. It's a hair stiffer than the Blacklist and should deal with your weight a little better. Go with whatever size is above the 153. I don't remember what that is.
