145-150 board for the superpipe
Im in desperately need of some advice about what board I should by. Im about 5 4 tall so Im looking for a intermediate or expert board between 145 and 149. not a lot out there on men's boards of this size... I want to focus mainly on riding the superpipe and kickers and not so much rails and boxes. it shoud be medium flex so it will be soft but still have some pop to bring me over the big mamas (since Im not so good at speed, thats elementary)
Would be really great if you have some advice for me. Thanks
P.S.: I'm not goin to ride a Burton!!
oh and i dont care about camber or rocker since both techniques have their pros and cons.
(excuse my language, I'm swiss ;))
And if you really want to ride pipe and excel, you'll need something on the stiffer end of the park spectrum
mid->stiff flex, true twin, cambered board, sintered base.
Sorry I don't have a specific board suggestion for you.
Edit: What about a Rome Machine? Shorter lengths with proper widths, true twin camber. Just not sure if it's stiff enough (unless you're <150 lbs)
thank you so far
I am about 160lbs. About the Rome Machine isn't it more of a jib then a pipe board?
Yeah I'm not really sure. Who cares what they market it as, if it's got the right specs and the right flex for what you want to do with it. (but yeah, I think it's too soft for the pipe)
