What park/jibbing board should I get? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey all. I'm looking to buy a new board. I'm currently looking at the lib tech skate banana but i'm also open to other boards and I would like to know what you guys recommend, im 5'10 and i would consider myself an intermediate rider.. I'll be doing rails and jumps.

(I used to ride a lib tech box scratcher but it got stolen)

Mervin doesn't make good park boards! How much jib to jump percentage will you be doing

Around 50% jib, 50% jump (no jumps over 20 feet though).
I want a board that will help progress my rails and my tricks if its posible.

Signal park zero seems like a good choice. Arbor draft as well.

arbor draft looks really sick for me. cheers. just curious about the pop, reviews say its bad.

is there anything similar with better pop or...?

Arbor blacklist has good pop and is a great all around park deck. It also handles exceptionally well on the mountain so you won't be limited to just park.

The Blacklist is not out yet though is it? Would the westmark do a similar job to the Blacklist? I heard it's a hair stiffer but is it still flexi? I have found a Westmark (UK) for cheap but don't know whether to wait for a Blacklist......help..??!

who wins?

btw, i probably won't be taking it to any street/urban areas

Blacklist hands down. The Subzero and Draft are both designed with pretty much just jibbing in mind.

For a board that is soft and fun but can get you around the mountain while you're having fun check our the Signal Park Rocker Light. Not the full on Park Rocker, but the Light version that is coming for 2012.

thanks, the park rocker looks sick.. any ideas on when the park rocker light comes out?
