I went to a board shop to buy some hot wax and I was talking to the guy about edge maintenance and stuff like that. He told me it would be a good idea to buy a gummy stone to clean up the edges after ever couple days on the mountain. They had two types, a hard stone and a soft stone. I bought the hard stone. Anyway, I looked at my edges after one day of a lot of runs through the park and they were a little chewed up in some spots so I tried smoothing it down with the stone. I soon realized that the stone doesn't really do much. Edges are still pretty rough, and I scraped it up and down the edges a decent amount of times with not much improvement. Am I missing something?
