Hey guys, im trying to pick up some cheap starting gear for my little brother. He's only gone snowboarding once and is interested in learning but doesn't want to pay a whole lot since he figures he'd wreck whatever gear he's using this season. He was looking at this eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices but i've never heard of this brand for th board or the binding. Can you guys give me a little help? Oh he's also really interested in it because he likes penguins too

For $40, I'd take it. I'm 5'10" 110 and I started out riding a 156 stiff freeride deck. If he weighs more than me, he'll survive on it no matter what. EDIT: This board calls itself all-mountain, so it should be decent.
Wait for a couple others to chime though.

Does your little brother want to ride around the mountain on a board labelled "the little penguin"?
How "little" is he? If he's anywhere near teen or tween, I'd give a snowball in hell better odds. Edit: If he's already vetted and approved it, ignore my comments.
