Bataleon Funk Kink US - Snowboarding Forum

Yoo alright so i'm in the market for a new stick, i'm 5'6" 135, and milo has a sick deal on the bataleon fun kink in a 149. I've never ridden TBT and i really wanna give it a go. I'll be riding Brighton this year, and I'll mostly be in the park (rails, booters) except on pow days and an occasional groomer bomb. The fun kink seems pretty soft but I'm coming off the Rome Postermania 147 as my do everything board so i'm used to having a fairly soft board for riding all types of shit. Your thoughts?

If you're not planning on doing much riding outside of the park, TBT isn't bad... I personally hated my Bataleon and sold it, but I like to ride the mountain and rarely do park. I didn't like the edge hold personally.

If you're going to stick with park and it's a screaming deal, I say go for it.

It will work for ya, wont be great around the mountain but doable. I like TBT, its a fun ride.

My Evil Twin rides everywhere fine. I don't have any problems with edgehold on the east coast. Maybe 3 times last year my edge gave out going pretty fast, but aside from that it was fine.

Just checked Milo, it's a 2011 Rocker TBT. I think rocker + TBT would be overkill after demoing camber+TBT but that's just my opinion.

This board actually is camber. It only says "rocker" in the bottom. This kind of humor was one of the reasons I now have a Bataleon board

That would make sense, I didn't think Bataelon did anything other than TBT Camber but you never know.
