Hey Guys,

Looking for some advice here. I'm decided to get a t.rice c2btx pro and I'm torn between the 153 or 157. I'm 5'7, 145 pounds, 26 years old, size 9 boot. I mostly board in Vail (only 12 or so days a year) and love tight trees, small hucks (10ish feet) and the other standard freeride stuff. I almost never ride switch and never hit the park which makes me wish I could get a pointy tip. Does the pointy tip really make much of a difference? When Jeremy Jones talks about his "flagship" he mentions that the blunt nose actually helps "slice through snow" I'm sure it's marketing talk, but it also makes me think it isn't that big of a deal for cutting through the crud and keeping afloat in powder. But I really have no idea. Splitboard Spotlight: ‘The Solution’ | Jeremy Jones | Jones Snowboards

Anyways, I've got a powder board already (a 156 burton fish) but I only plan to take that out once or twice a year on the deepest of deep days (I don't get out enough so I feel much more comfortable riding and getting used to one board). So basically the t.rice will be my board on most powder days as well as my everyday board. What I'm looking for is which would you get and why? I want the best size for me for going through tight trees, staying afloat in said trees, 10 foot or so hucks, stable at decently high speeds, and busting through the crud at the end of the bowls and bottom of trails on tracked out powder days. Unfortunately I won't be able to try any out myself so I'm looking for a best guess.

153 or 157?
