Board design is all about compromises and no board is truly perfect at everything. From what I am hearing, you really want to focus on a straight up the middle freestyle board. Magnetraction helps on hardpack and for holding more speed with confidence on a rockered board. From a very differnt approach, triple base loosens up the cambered feel for a nice middle ground.
Ya I def see what your saying..And Im leaning towards cambered just because I love eveything about it.I just dont want to make something harder then it has to be..Trust me im NO Terje..I understand what your saying about the design of boards for speed are different then that of ones for park. Also I only ride at a hill with a 900ft incline so its not really big hills im using it on..Dont know if that makes a difference. As far as magnatraction goes I have rode the skate banana, and Im def needing something with less chatter at speeds.I will do some homework on the Lib/GNU stuff..any models suggestions? Thanks in advanced.
