New board.

Hi everyone,

im going to Canada for this season to work up there as a life operator (Coming from Australia sydney) and i need a new board + bindings and ive been looking at the never summer range of snowboards participially the NS evo

i used to have a 2006/2007 evo board so im not sure weather the tech has changed that much in the board construction since then with the evo to make it good for alittle bit of freeriding. i really loved my evo though so i dunno.

weight: 80kg (kilograms)
hight: 150cm from foot to chin
170cm from foot to head
binding size: Medium
boot size: men's 9

The 2012 Evo is a completely different board that what you have now. Now it has RC camber and the Vario grip sidecut as well as being softer than what you have. Think closer to what the Circuit was. If you want something closer to your Evo get the Proto.

All that said, My favorite do everything boards for 2012 are the Arbor Blacklist/Westmark, Nitro Team Pro One Off's, Signal Park Flat, or the Flow Era.

Who? Nitro? No. My subpop is as good as day one. I am not calling you a liar, but you are either one beast of a dude or you abuse your boards if you killed a Wiig. He's a beast of a man. And when did this happen? 3-4 years ago they had some bad sidewall designs that cracked easy... The base on my Subpop has proven to be extremely resilient.

The way NS builds their stuff it will stay rideable for a good long while. But it will stop riding like day one after about 30-50 days on the mountain depending on how you ride. They lose their liveliness.

I'm not "nice" to neversummer cause I had to deal with their fanboys for years and I've always gotten an aire of elitism whenever I've dealt with them.

Your'e right about the sidewall thing thas was a 2008 wiig, cracked at two places.

But i'm kinda sorry to hear about the Ns thing since i just bought one, all i ever heard was they last a long time.
Do you think their new boards will be like that as well ? (the carbonium topsheet ones)

It's the wet layup and pre-preg glass that cause it. I mean it won't become like a 6 year old dead no more camber ride in that 30-50 day time frame and you might not notice a differfence. Someone like me that feels all the little tech tweaks in a board shape and constuction notices.
