Ok I live in a state where we dont get much snow
I wanna work on grinds all year round so would it be more beneficial to just buy a youth board to practice grinds in the summer.
Im kinda brokish and dont wanna wreck a board.
but if you don't get snow, where would you grind? and...how? and if you have an area to grind, why not save your money and use your regular board?
Just my 2 cents
a lot of pros skateboard, maybe you should try that instead of ghetto-rigging some sketchy jibs. but if you really want to. make some friends at a local ice rink and fill your car or truck up with shavings. and instead of buying a kids board, which you might fit on but will probabley break, look for something stupid cheap on ebay or something, should be a little easier to find since you dont really need to worry about how beat up the board is since your just going to destroy it.
Indoor-outdoor carpeting, and either a little bit of snow from the ice rink or lemon dish detergent and water go a long way. Put a little down and you'll be fine. Grabbing a cheap board off of ebay may be a good idea though
