Default Trs 154?

I am 5'10 about 170lbs, looking at getting the TRS in a 154 but I am wondering if that would be too short for me?

I only free ride, stick to groomers and do some trees. The reason I am thinking 154 is because I am still progressing and turn initiation should be easier, especially in the trees. But will it be stable at speed with my weight? The next size up is a 157.

157 all day long. You will be fine on it.

It all comes down to personal preference, I think the 154 will still be stable enough, but the one thing I would probably worry about is if you will get enough float in powder.

I am leaning towards the 154 since my stance is pretty narrow, I feel like a little shorter might feel better with a narrow stance.

The only thing I am worried about now is the float on powder, do you guys think there will be a big difference between the 157 and 154?
