Got my board swiped and I'm waiting for the insurance to kick in.
Sales are on, season pass is burning on my jacket and I don't have time to demo everything. Could I get some suggestions on what to demo? Here's the vitals: 6'2", 190lbs., Size 10 boots. I pretty much carve up the groomers, never hit the park, but like speed and good edge to edge quickness. I'm also in the east, so way more ice than powder. I was riding a Ride Timeless 164 with Ride SPI bindings. Loved the stiffness/comfort of the bindings, but had issues with the "quick release" ratchets occasionally releasing. I also loved the board, a bit soft maybe, but no chatter and it was nice to have a more casual ride for my old man legs toward the end of the day. I'm gonna demo the Burton Custom and the Feelgood, but think the Custom X might be too stiff for me at the end of the day. Also thinking of the Ride Concept TMS. I have no idea what Rome or Nitro models would fit my style (or other brands/models)and I'd like to keep the demo list down to 6 boards or less. Thanks! |
