I am planning on getting the 08 cartel lo-back bindings. Can i get some opinions on how these ride on the mountain and terrain? Also i have size 10 men's burton freestyle boots. I was wondering if the size 10 would fit comfortably in medium cartel bindings. Why not just go for the large? Because i'm buying the bindings on ebay lol.

Not to get in the middle here, but chill. The guy was offering a word of encouragement that the bindings are talked about a good bit on here and you should be able to get a good answer. Looks as if you were the one "jumping to conclusions". It doesn't really boad well when you come on pissing people off who have contributed here for a while and you have 4 posts. Not a good way for anyone to actually help you out. As far as the bindings go, heel side response is a little less due to the lower highback. The low backs are a little easier in the park. As far as size, you will have a hard time getting a size 10 freestyle boot in a medium cartel. I have mediums, and I wear a 9. My SL10s fit fine, but my freestyle boots are really snug as they are a good bit larger. I wouldn't see how a 10 would fit. Just my opinion, but maybe I jumped to conclusions as well so take it for what its worth.

I didn't know that i came off pissy. I said it in a polite manner, but if i did i'm sorry. I was thinking if i readjusted the bindings that I could fit the size 10 boots into the mediums. I'll have 2 go 2 a store and try it out i guess. And ur last sentence was not neccessary, but thanks for the help.

I am not doubting a size 10 will fit in the binding, I am just saying that the freestyle boot has a much larger outer dimension that the SL does. My size 9 SL10s fit with easy, and a size 9 freestyle boot is much larger. Larger to the point that I have to extend out my toe straps so they will catch, even though they fit perfectly onto the toes of my SL10s. The freestyle is just a much larger boot thickness wise than some others in Burton's line. I can tell a major difference between the two boots in the same binding. Just giving you a heads up that you may need to try the freestyle boot in the binding to make sure it will fit before you spend the money. If you do buy them for a really good deal and they end up not fitting I know my size 9s will fit if you have to sell them!

Yea i had checked that. It says that mediums are size 8-10 while large is 10-12. Since i'm wearing size 10 boots i was wondering which would be better for my boots overall. Well I'll be getting the mediums for a great deal so i'll just have 2 readjust my bindings 2 fit the boot. Thx for the help.
