I'm new to snowboarding, only been out a few times but I was planning on getting a board for this season. I'm 6'11 190 lbs, 11-11.5 boots and no set style chosen. So I'm look at two boards that I think fit what I need but as being ignorant in this field I thought I should ask the opinions of people who know what they are talking about.
Rossignol Scope Snowboard 159 Men's | eBay Morrow Radium Wide Mens Snowboard 159 | eBay any information is much appreciated. |

cant comment on your boards up there but what i can say is that if you are new you prolly want
1) soft flex board to make turning easier 2) size 11 shoes depending on the board u might need a wide board the scope has a flex of 7 so prolly too stiff for you as a beginner there may be other boards for you to look at.... other than those 2 |

At this point, with those two options, buy the one you like the graphic the best. 200 shipped for the Morrow, you are almost halfway there for a Never Summer dude, do it!! Keep saving and buy a Never Summer, serious |

I chose those two after looking for awhile for their width and lower price. Bills are pretty heavy right now so I'm avoiding spending as much as I can but I would hate to go the season without boarding at all. Both boards listed are 26.6cm which I believe makes them wide which is what I think I need for boots that are 11-11.5. As for this scope of flex, is that higher = stiffer or higher = more flex?
