Limit on boot overhang

What's the limit on boot over hang? I'm a size 11 using a board with a 251mm waist, I have 1-1/2'' of overhang on both my toe and heel edge. Should I sell the board and buy a wider one or get bindings with risers in them?

I'm using an Arbor Westmark that has a 25.1 waste. I'm also a size 11 boot. Works perfecting. My recommendation would be to widen your stance angles

The question is how far you can lean before your toe/heel starts to drag. If it doesn't catch till extreme angles (where you'd wipe out anyways) you should be fine I think...

Maybe quick home test you could strap your board on like you're going boarding and just see how far you can lean back/forward before your boots start to touch the floor.

Its not bad i suppose, I dont have bindings yet however if i put the boots on the board i get about 40 degrees before the toe touches.

Ya the bindings will give you quite a bit of extra angle since they raise your boots off the board. Couple that with a standard 15/-15 stance angle and it really shouldn't be that bad at all.
