156cm for a.... - Snowboarding Forum

My friend is about 245lbs but only about 5'10".... I'm gettin' a great deal for him on a 156cm wide forum recon board... he's size 11.5 boots... We were thinking since it's such a rocker that he would definately be alright with it... He's JUST learning and a shorter board is more maneuverable and the rocker with a detuned edge should be really easy and forgiving... any thoughts!?

Sounds like you are getting him the right board.

the only prob is his weight... he might be too heavy for it in the pow.... but hopefully the rocker helps or fixes that!
