Default Attack Banana

Hi, has anyone ridden this board. I ride a skate banana now and love it for cruising down the east(ice) coast mountains!! Was wondering what the plus's and cons would be to the skate.

It's a little stiffer but still more of a park board, you might want to look at the TRS instead if you are sticking to cruising down the mountain. Turn initiation is as easy as the skate banana with the TRS but much more stable at speed.

I just bought a 159 ($480 on eBay- new!). I'll be using it in the New England mountains this winter. I can't wait to get out there.

I got about 20+ days in last winter (all in New England). I absolutely love my AB. I've become a much better rider- it's incredibly confidence-inspiring. Awesome on ice and crud, easy to turn, easy to land jumps, but responsive. It's a really fun, forgiving board. I'd highly recommend.

I feel like the Attack Banana get's labeled as a park board when really it's a great all mountain deck.

It is a great all mountain deck. Shocked at that post suggesting it was a park board. I thought it was more stable than the TRS of that year. TRS was more playful in my eyes.

I had an Attack Banana. It was a decent board but didn't seem to have very good edgehold on ice. I just didn't have confidence. Sold it and bought a Yes PYL which is better in icy conditions. Snagged a Billy Goat for this year which should be nice.

AB is indeed an all-mountain deck, not a park board.

Concerning the comparison with the TRS: AB is a bit more loose and the TRS arguably is a bit more playful. Difference is basically that the AB is stiffer and has more rocker, while the TRS is a bit softer but has more camber in the profile.

So would the Attack Banana be a freestyle all mountain or a playful all mountain?, (very little difference, i know)

Also on that line, Is the Skate Banana a dedicated park board? I've heard it was a park board that performs equally well outside of the park.
