Default Binding "accessory?" question

First time trying to attach a pic so, if this worked I was wondering what this object is for. It came with my bindings.

its called a leash... u attach part of it to ur binding and part of it to your leg to prevent if ever... ur boot slipped out of ur binding so that you board doesn't go barreling down the hill and kill people...

The only place i know of that REQUIRES u to wear a leash is in ontario where i live.. because people here are weird.... most people i talk to dont like to wear them as it is really rare for u to come apart from your board

throw it away, or find something to use it for, not sliding on snow. Make sure not to loose your snowboard by flipping it over when you un-strap.

Does anyone use them still?

Ah, thanks for the quick responses. Well I keep my boots and straps extra tight out of paranoia, but, again I'm paranoid so I guess I'll use it.

Keep hold of it. You may find that you like riding with it or whatever. I've seen them used during hiking as well.

you use it to choke yourself while you jerk off in the off season so you get that same euphoria feeling you get on a powder day.

Used for newbies because they don't know you take off your second boot and the board goes flying. Usually the person who owns the board they are borrowing make them wear it.

My buddies wore it when they first started until they got tired of me making fun of them. One of them had to dive after his board though after unstrapping on a steeper hill
