hi guys, I need some help is choosing a board that will fit my big feet
. I'm sold on either a 152 never summer proto or a 153 never summer sl. Though my biggest concern is toe overhang.my setup at the moment is 152 roxy eminence size 9 mens nike kaiju size L burton lexa bindings my stats is weight: 61kg height: 169cm With the eminence 152 which has a 23.9 waist width, i was getting at least 2 inch toe overhang with a duck stance. It is one of the reasons why i've decided to consider mens boards because it has a bigger waist width. The proto 152/sl 153 has 24.4 waist which doesn't seem like it's much bigger than the eminence. Will I get the same issue? or because the proto is a mens board, the waist width is measured differently? any help is appreciated! |

I don't know the answers to your questions about waist width sizing being measured differently or if a 24.4 waist will solve your overhang issue, but wanted to mention that IF 24.4 will work for your boot size and IF you're not entirely sold on the NS men's boards, the Gnu B Pro 152 has a waist width of 24.4. It might be a board to consider, especially if you like your Roxy Eminence (both made by Mervin).
Good luck! |
