I made my own stickers--picked up some of the self-adhesive vinyl in different colors from a car shop. (where they tint windows, make and cut out different decals for your car, etc.) I never saw any professionally made stickers that I would want to put on my board--especially since I'd have to see 'em all the time. I drew out the designs and cut 'em out with an exacto knife--every time at the mountain, someone asks where I got 'em. I have a Wu-Tang logo at the head of my board, along with an "EPMD" logo as well. In the middle a Brand Nubian logo and a "Grand Theft Auto" logo at the end. I used a sh*tty silver vinyl for the background of a Spider-Man head and a Project Gotham Racing 3 Logo, and they started to peel--other than that, those stickers are there for LIFE--no problems with them coming off either--as long as you don't put them TOO close to the edges. All of the pictures use diferent colors so it looks pretty good. Don't feel pressured to put what's available to you--make your own!! As long as you use the right materials, it's all good.

I'm lucky because a buddy of mine has a graphics shop so I supply him with the graphic and he can do the die-cut decal in any size. Also, I can give hime some old skateboard graphics, like the old Roskopp series" and he can reproduce them for me on vinyl. Very handy.

Damn HERO, that's some crazy skills if you cut all that up with an exacto knife. Luckily, I have a cousin who owns a graphic shop as well, so he makes some pretty precise cuts.
As for stickers on my board, I have a pretty plain technine board that WM was selling a couple months back, so I decided to put a big bomb sticker on it... I'll post pics tomorrow... |
