Stickering your board - Snowboarding Forum

In a bout of insomnia, I stickered 2 of my boards at ~2AM last night. This morning I went down thinking I had made a horrible mistake, and damn, if they don;t actually look pretty good.

A couple of rules I followed, if I don't wear it, use it or it's not on the board, I didn't put the stickers on.

ie. I have rome bindings on my Gnu, so I have a few rome stickers in the binding area.

I never stickered my boards before because A) I'm old and B) I just figured I was being a poser if I wasn't laying down 5's or 7s.

What are your thoughts on stickers/decals.

Just like my car, I like keeping my board as clean as possible, so I'll never put stickers on it. To each their own though. It's your board, do whatever you want to it.

I don't plaster my boards with stickers but I will put a nice big die-cut Oakley "O" on the tip and tail or my new fave is the big "M" from Monter Energy Drink in green and orange.

And yes I do wear Oakley goggles and shades as well as drink a lot of Monster.

I stickerd my 08 Royale but thats because its the black one and baisicaly looks like a blank black board from more than a couple feet away. Not much though just one at teh tip and tail.

I was going to throw an Electric sticker on my new White Collection, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm still taking trips into the garage just to look at it and rub the fingerprints off of it

I like keeping my baby fresh, of course fresh is a relative term in that I have had same board for 3 years and take really bad care of it(check other postings) ><.

Btw, "Zee" where did u get that name from? I knew a Zee online who spelled it like that.

I use it on a lot of forums, jeep forums, civic forum, etc etc.
