Proto CT + Flux SF45 Bindings

After months of waiting and trying to find stores that will ship to Canada for a decent price, I finally got my Proto CT 152 and my Flux SF45s in checkered yellow! (it's clearly more green than yellow...)

I got it from boardroomshop, great store. Their online site isn't up yet so I called in and asked the people at their online stores. They said they usually don't do orders over the phone but because their website is experiencing problems they did the sale over the phone for me. Sales reps are awesome, they work a little slow... but I was also haggling them a lot. You can almost always find someone if you call their online store and they reply to emails.

It came out to 880 after taxes, free shipping, no duty charges.
I lucked out because the week I called in, they were having a sale in the store. I think I got 10-15% off? so I got the board for 529 and the bindings for 250 (regular american prices?) after taxes came out to 870 something... i think

hmmm so in total you only saved about $50 vs buying local, unless you don't have a local shop that carries NS and Flux.

Damn those bindings look sweet.

As for 'not usually doing phone orders'. What a crock, I have heard this stuff before, its basically some one on the end of the line who doesn't want to write down your CC details and order. What they should say is "we dont usually do phone orders because im too lazy and my boss doesnt believe that i can write 16 numbers in the correct sequence".

Sweet choice. Those sf45s look great on the Proto.

Someone buy my black sf45s from last year so I can get the new green ones!

yeah, NS is hard to find in my toronto. I called around and all the stores said they didn't carry NS so I ordered from the local shop in BC. I found out after I placed the order that a store 30 minutes away from me carries NS, the rep on the phone had no idea what he was talking about... but no flux bindings

if you're shipping from canada to cananda, it's guaranteed no brokerage fees i believe.
