Btw, these guys have been incredible to work with. best "customer support" ive ever worked with, and thats not just with snowboarding.

I like the board for the kids.....awesome board, I might buy one.

The military theme is funny, they leave out the ladies, unless I missed that. Cool boards.

First - thanks!

On leaving out the ladies, not at all! We have actually a higher male/female team ratio than most other companies. We don't build equipment based on chromosome typing; we base it on height and weight. One of our female riders broke 5 - yes 5 - MENS boards on their old sponsor last season, which led her away from twig and berry construction methods and over to us.. She needs real steel, not tarted-up butterfly wishes.

We did, however, just release a new model called the AdAstra, which uses our 'emocore', a lighter weight core for those weighed down by the 'weight of the world' and not much else. But women and slim men can both ride it - it isn't a 'Womens board' because I prefer to let women decide that . Like the military, we have an officially unisex culture, and we put women in combat roles .

One thing on the kids boards is they are real boards - dual-slant sidewalls, Kevlar, etc- we didn't stop at the graphics., so they are basically shrink-ray adult boards. We were actually going to call the board 'shrink ray' but we opted for separate names instead.

saw that....really amazing IMO to offer that. A real keeper for my little ones "first board". I have to buy so much stuff that they grown out of, and it usually gets donated, but a board like this would be rad to keep. Props!

That's cool! Start her off early and maybe we'll be seeing her on the medal stand in the Olympics or X Games ... on an Echelon board, perhaps .
