I've always wanted to know what the big difference is between the two. I know the designs are different (no sh*t) but is the board made any differently? and I'm not saying compare two completely distinctive boards.. Thanks!
I've never looked into it in detail, but I remember reading that the rider weight to board length ratio for women's boards is where main difference lies. Since girls on average tend to have a lighter frame than guys, it'd make sense to make their boards less stiff in comparison.
While on the subject, I have an old 143 santa cruz snowboard from like '99/'00, would this be fine for my girlfriend to learn on and use for sometime till she gets the hang of it? I don't see why not, but figured while were talking differences here...
