Smile Bataleon Evil Twin - too wide for me?

wat up fellas (= looking for a new board for the season. Can use some suggestions!

Very interested in the bataleon TBT stuff and have my eyes on a 151 evil twin. My question is, would the 290-248-290 width be a tad too wide for me? I am 140 lbs with size 7.5 foosies.
Or would the 149 fun kink with a 286-242-286 be a better choice for me?

The reason I have this question is because I tried a friend's nitro runaway with a very narrow 238mm waist and really like it was so much easier to turn, especially when I'm hitting the trees. But that could be other factor as well: it is a shorter, softer, and gull-wing shaped board.

Any advice is appreciated

The thing with TBT is it makes carving much easier. I have the 09 ET and it is noticeably wider than my TRS (the ET might be midwide) and it is still faster edge-to-edge. I think they have made the ET more narrow since I got my board, too.

So I would not worry about the width of the ET.

Looks like it is still pretty much the same width

Anyhow appreciate the advice man. I like tree runs so being able to make quick skidded turns would be essential. Pretty close to pull the trigger now. Damn the 2011 artist edition graphics are so nasty and twisted... XD
The 09 version had probably the best classic graphic...
