You already have a jam, I'd go proto or Evo, personally.

Evo if you're going to press/butter more. Proto if not.

So i got the malavitas and the prophecy.

I am putting the prophecy in the jam

And the malavitas in the SL

Now i am just choosing the SL 161 or 158.

1.86m and 90kg ... 10.5 burton ion.

Will the 158 be much diference from the 161 in pow and speed? i dont do rails or boxes, just some jumps.

thanks

If you mainly free ride and stay out of the park, go for the 161. More stability at speed, more effective edge.

If you plan on doing spins on jumps, go with the 158.

Go with the 158. If there's part of you that is playful and wants something easier to whip around, the 158 is perfect. With the SL you're still going to have the stability as it is a more all mountain deck with extra stiffness and dampening.

This thread was really confusing, if you want something more playfully get the 157 proto.

I was looking at the proto 157, but the store where i am buying it and getting a big discount doesnt have the proto 157. only the 158CTX.

So It leaves the SL.

As i have a bataleon the jam 161 that i can bomb hard i think i could get the 158 to serve as all mountain board.

This year i am trying to do the 180 and 360 in natural terrain, as i dont go much to the park.

As the SL 158 has more efective edge than my 161 the jam, i think in groomers it would be ok.

Would the 158 loose vey much to the 161 SL in powder? or it would be small lost?

thanks
