Which would board will float better?

159 Nitro team gullwing or 161.5 GNU riders choice MTX ?

will the gullwing make up for the slightly bigger surface area of the riders choice ?

Off to Japan soon, only want to take 1 board.....

A LOT.

Seems like every powder board these days has some sort of rocker, at least up front.

I personally go with the rocker, no questions asked for pow.

it's not even close.

the rocker makes a huge difference... I went from riding a 168 Rome Flag to riding a 166 NS Legacy and the Legacy floats like a dream and the Flag I would have to work it to stay afloat.

Go with your rocker board, better in the pow and less energy spent initiating turns and shorter board means better in the trees\bumps.

My 152 Nitro SubPop floated better than my janky 155 directional with stock setback. Rocker mis king in pow. DO IT.

No to mention I think the Team Gullwing is a better board overall.

Snowboarding Is...

That thing I do to escape the world and have fun with my friends
