Default burton's board rating system; "feel"?

ok if you go on burtons site and check out their boards, they have a rating called feel. what exactly does this mean? why is it that the highest rating for feel is like a 7 for their freestyle boards? wouldnt you think, seeing as how theyre making this up themselves, that they would rank the highest a 10, just to make it look good?

is this "feel" just a buncha bull? im just wondering

I think it has to do with stiffness and flex - you'll probably get a quicker response on a stiffer board, which isn't exactly what a park board would be.
Board: Directional
Bindings: Burton Missions 07
Boots: Burton Freestyle 07
