hello everybody! i just started snowboarding and i wud like to know how to choose a proper board. a lot of ppl advised me to buy one on ebay maybe it a gud idea=) i was just wondering if the size of the board matters, like if im short shud i buy a short snowboard?? or how do i know my size? does feet size affect the size of bindings in any way
thanks ill appreciate any answeres

size of board is mostly deciding on ur weight. i weigh just under 140, i ride a 154. as for finding a board, i started out on a burton chopper as little guy, now after like 8yrs, im up to burton shaun white. so yea ur weight determines size of board. as for bindings, bigger feet = bigger bindings.

best is to buy locally at a board shop
if u wait a few weeks u will see a lot of sales since most places close on my coast in April

well i can definately say my boards (you would think i'm weird) are 157...and i weigh just under 200 lbs..so you can hear what everyone tells ya about a board and how big it's supposed to be...BUT my boards were chosen because i feel comfty riding them...any day being comfty> not being comfty...just my 2 cents oh and also i'm 6'1"
