Question About Burton Snowboard?

Hi Guys-

I am a beginner and i recently picked up a Burton Blunt Board at ski dazzle this past weekend. I went boarding and noticed after i got home that there was a about a 6 inch section where there is a very very small gap between the base of the board and the metal edge. I do not know if that was there before i rode on it. The gap can't be more than 1 mm and is only located in one small section of the board. Is it something that i need to be concerned with? Here are some pictures to help describe what i am talking about. Thanks for all your help.

I purchased the board at ski dazzle, so i doubt i can return it. Any suggestions? The guy who waxed the board did not seem to concerned since it was so small an area

If you contact Burton about it, they will take care of you.

F that. Small/big doesnt matter. I wasnt paying attention but if you bought it used i guess ur SOL. I would take it somewhere to see if they can repair it though. Maybe your local shop can shed some light on the issue.

good luck.

The edge is separating from the board. If it was bought new and under warranty, you can return it to Burton. If not, a shop worth its weight can fix it. If a shop says no, then go to the next one.

A blown edge is not a big deal.

It's hard to fully tell from the pic but it does look like theres seperataion, you need to get that fixed asap or else its most likely going to get worse. Have you tried calling ski dazzle or burton? burtons warranty is pretty good from what ive read
