Ride Machete? Experience, Sizing, Bindings?

1. I was looking into a skate banana or process burton but now it looks like I'm going to buy the ride machete. Anyone have experience with this board and how it handles as an "All mountain" as thats what I'll need.. I ride about 50% groomers 15% park 25% off in the powers 10% off in the powder jumps I see/find/make. I also will ride a wide range of runs from green runs with friends who are just starting to black diamonds with guys that I'm trying to keep up with etc. Basically for around $400 I havent found a board that I thinks better than the Ride Machete.. Thoughts?

2. I'm 6'3'' 195 / size 13 shoe i'm athletic build, big shoulders small waist etc not a pud. I was looking into getting the 157 wide but do people think this board is to small for me??? Should I be looking at a 161 wide? I like the idea of the 157w because of how easy itll be for me to spin, grind, maneuver etc? But am I fooling myself into getting a board thatll be to small for me? (I recently turned 20 so I assume im pretty much done growing..)

3. Bindings? Rome 390s are pretty rough on the price tag but I dont want to get a scummy pair of bindings and ruin my board if I have too ill for out some serious cash but are there other bindings with near quality for maybe a little less $$$? Dont hesitate to say no o.O!

Thanks in advance!!

Kramer.

Go with the 161W if you're more in to bombing or the 57 if you want to do a bit more park.

Machete is a solid board, I had one the first year they came out in 2010, haven't ridden this year but it should be a little bit improved with a slightly different camber profile and I think they beefed it up a little bit. It is a good "all around" board, stable on jumps, the rocker is really mellow and it jibs pretty well, and slimewalls tech really helps absorb chatter and give you a little bit damper ride.

also, credits don't do anything. I guess you used to be able to buy some sort of bling for your profile or signature or something, but not any more. Just an indicator of how frequent/active you are on the forum, that's all.

Ya thats what I was thinking I've never been into super bombing hills. Maybe every once in a while but i like more carving in powder findings small jumps ollie'ing etc etc. Also I feel like the 157W will give me enough surface area with the rocker to keep me floating real nice in the powder.. i feel like the 161 will just add weight and take away from maneuverability when im trying to get technical etc. but my only concern is my size.. depending on what phase of my meal plan im in i get up to around 202-203 sometimes.

Ya i feel like the machete is the best "all mountain" board for its price that i've seen
