Default BRAND NEW snowboarded. need help with boards

I have a buddy that has a 2008 nitro magnum board in good condition. It also come with Burton Bindings, but NO boots.
He wants $180 for it.
Is that a good deal? Is that a good board for a beginner?

Thanks!
Need a lot of help!

Also,
I should add.
I am 6 foot 2 weigh about 140 and ride right foot forward(thats how I wakeboard) Never snowboarded before.
I need a board size 155-160 ive been told.
Let me know if htis board/binding package is a good deal, or If there is a different route I should go.

Thanks in advancee!

Not a bad deal if everything is in good shape. Will your buddy let you try it out before you buy it?

You didn't say what size your friend's board is. And what Burton bindings come with it?

Throw a lower offer out, but it is an OK deal.

freestlye binidngs will get the job done to learn on. Your tall but your weight says 159 may be a little big? Although I think you should probably buy it just for the deal and then as you progress find the perfect fit.
