Ride Manic 2011 vs 2012

So ive been looking at the Manic after i saw it won a good wood award this year.

previously i had been thinking i wanted a Machete but the reviews on the Manic have me looking at that now too. The thing is, i can get a 2011 manic for 288$ or the 2012 for 340$. looking at the descriptions there seems to be only one big difference, the 2012 'new lowpro rocker' vs the 2011 'lowrize rocker'.

I am pretty close to just picking up the 2011 model because it seems like a good price and then i can use it for the rest of this season, as opposed to waiting a few more months and looking for more deals then. but if the 2012 really is significantly better than the 2011 i would rather get one of those later.

the board im riding now is my 2001(?) Sims Neal Drake Twin 156, which is way too small for my 210 pound ass these days. so this is kind of why i want a new deck now.

anyones input appreciated!@

Not much difference except the price IMO. The 2012 may be a little more stable because of the less pronounced rocker.
You will probably only notice that at very high speeds so unless that is your bag I would go with the cheaper 2011.
