Hey guys im new to snowboarding and some friends of mine wana go here soon. They all have boards but ive never been in my life. Though i have already bought the burton blunt 2012, ive read that its primarily an all park board which is great and also to me it seems like this will be a good board to learn on. Just curious if anyone has ever used this board and also whats it like takin a park board down the mountain?

You already bought it so just ride it. I generally ride park boards all mountain, but that's my personal preference. Ride it, progress, then you can demo other boards to see if there something else you'd want to buy.

look around while your out there... there should be roughly 300 other people riding that board. you can ask them.
if youve never been...you have nothing to go by if anyone gave you advice. seems silly. Still have much to learn young one.

My boy has a 2010 blunt. I felt the workmanship was lacking. It has taken a beating, he rides everywhere my other boy and I ride and his board is the most beat up.
He rides a lot of park and all mountain, and it's been just fine. He says it's stable and fun. Not much of a review but he likes it, he's happy and that's what counts. You will be fine to learn on this board, have fun and ride that is what is important. Good luck and wear a helmet !!!!

there's a guy on another forum complaining about his blunt falling apart, and not from park abuse. Based on his pictures, I'd say, If you haven't ridden it yet, send it back and get a better board.
